"okay everyone, before we begin I'd just like to remind you that there will be a group project due in two weeks, so I'm going to put you into pairs real quick" Mrs vas says
"alright, first we have riley jones and sammy williams you two will be a pair" they high five eachother "um jackson brandly and mackenzie holmes" mackenzie raises her hand
"yes?" Mrs vas looks at her over the rim of her glasses "I just think that me working with him is unfair on my part, as I'm clearly academically smarter than him" jackson frowns
"I think, for the best chance of me achieving a higher grade, I should work with danny chris" she looks over at danny, he cringes as she smirks at him "no" Mrs vas says, causing her smile to drop
"moving on" she looks back down at her clipboard "billie o'connell and.. gracie matthews you two will be a pair.." i grin and look at her from across the room, she rolls her eyes

"graciee" i call as I walk up to her "yes billie?" she asks, not looking away from the small mirror hung up on the inside of her locker door "I need your number" i say, she continues to apply mascara "and why's that?" she asks "because Mrs vas put us together for the project remember?" i remind her
"hm" she looks at me sceptically, before putting her mascara in her bag and grabbing her phone. she hands it to me "go on then" she tells me, I type my number in and hand her the phone back
"boyfriend? really?" she raises her eyebrow "I thought it fit quite well" I wink causing her to roll her eyes "I'll make sure to show this to my actual boyfriend I'm sure he'd appreciate it" she smiles
I look at her confused "boyfriend?" i ask "yeah? oh.. was the famous billie eilish unaware I was in a relationship?" she asks, tilting her head teasingly "whaat?" i laugh "i- uh um n-no I knew that" i nod clearing my throat, she laughs shutting her locker "see you later.. boyfriend" she winks before walking away.

"aye I think we are" beth says stabbing some pasta "oh wait" beth says, turning to emma whos still flustered "do you wanna be my girlfriend?" she asks, emma who aggressively nods "aye we're dating" beth smiles at blake, before going back to eating her pasta
"finally, took you long enough" i say "now back to me."

i arrive at billies road and park a little away from her house. I get out of my car walk up to her door and knock on it a few times, the door opens and i look up to see a shirtless man with ginger hair
"f*cking hell!" i shout looking away "hi-" i say "hello?" the guy replies "uhm I'm here today to uh- im well.. so um-" i stutter, thrown off by him being shirtless
"who is it finneas?" i hear billies voice "some girl?" finneas replies, looking at billie as she appears
"baby!" she smiles "baby? what- who is she?" finneas asks billie "my friend who you have traumatised with you pale ass body go away" she shoos him away
"welcome to my home" she says as I step in "billie? fin told me you have someone over?" a woman with brow hair walks into the room "omg bil! she's prettyy" she smiles, walking over to us "gracie this is claudia, claudia this is gracie" billie introduces us "hi nice to meet you" she pulls me in for a hug
"I love your hair" she compliments "thanks love your nails, super cute" i say looking at claudias nails "aw thanks" we continue you talk until billie shoos her away as well
"she was so nice" i smile at billie "I know, now project time!" she grabs my hand and drags me to her room
